I’ve been on a tear recently with wanting to update my wardrobe. It might be due to the move and the new spring weather I’m now experiencing, I might be easily influenced online, or I’m just a shopaholic, all of which are probably true. Regardless, I’ve been scouring the web for the past couple of weeks to find some versatile spring pieces that won’t *totally* break the bank.
Personally, I think spring is all about layering. I guess it depends on where you are in the world but generally, layering is a key element to spring dressing. I’ve been wearing this trench (use code: AMBER-20 for 20% off) on repeat lately but came to realize I don’t have any shorter coats, and I’ve been seeing barn jackets and bombers have a moment right now. I’ve been looking for the perfect one for a few weeks to add some more spring style versatility to my wardrobe, and when I came across this beauty, I immediately *added to cart*!
I think a cropped trench is also super fun for spring and something different. I’ve been seeing them pop up everywhere lately!
Let’s take a moment to talk about spring pants. To me, that means off-white denim and light-coloured trousers. Preferably linen and/or something with a more relaxed fit. I had been looking for a relaxed fit pair of ecru denim jeans for the longest time and gasped when I saw these ones for under $140!
As much as I love linen for spring/ summer, I think we all can admit how much it wrinkles! These pants (linked above) are the perfect blend or linen and rayon, meaning they’ll still be soft and airy but won’t wrinkle the way 100% linen would. Plus, the elastic waist band is everything we love on those hot days after a yummy meal.
